News

First off, RE5...

I watched the RE5 trailer, if for no other reason to see if you could get a better shot of the dark haired chick. I have no PS3 so I will be waiting until RE5 comes out for the PC. Be that as it may, I am fairly sure that woman is NOT Claire Redfield. If she is, and not to offend anyone, she's got one helluva tan. Seriously though, the way Chris was talking to her makes me think it's a new character.

I did like the new dogs, they look awesome! I've missed the zombie dogs from the RE series. There was only a couple parasitic dogs in RE 4. Plus the chainsaw (as I like to call them) Bastards seem to be coming back. Which leads one to wonder if this new virus/parasite is somehow connected to Las Plagas.

Where is my precious Wesker?? *sniffle*

Secondly, my sickness

I have a head cold and probably will be doing nothing more creative than stamps for a few days. Although I have managed to work on "Tattered Lives" a bit.

XD I'm very "it's Not claire" cause it makes NO sense. Not the way they interacted and not the way they talked to each other. I loved the trailer but I wanted some Wesker or at least HINTS

O_O Is it bad I got like RE4 deja vu watching it but with Chris and in Africa?? XD The parasites and insane villagers and I was like "O-O PLAGAS!! GANADOS!! AUGH!!"

Well the addition of the Chainsaw Bastards (as I call them) didn't help any. I mean it seems like some kind of Las Plagas virus for sure, but I guess that would make sense, if they go with Africa being the mother of the viruses. But I was hoping for a ramped up version of T or G...

Yeah! Don't get me wrong--I LOVED RE4. But I'm old-school. I want my zombies back and more hellish BOWS XD I have to make some up in stuff I write to get my fix. Sure, parasites are scary but zombies are so fucking RELENTLESS that it's terrifying. Everything about a zombie offends the human sense and THAT is why the genre is so successful.

I'm hoping we aren't getting RE4 in a different package. I'm excited but wary

Ja, it looked like the villagers were infected with a T/Ganado mix.
I hope Jill didn't die somehow; Chris refers to his previous partner as a woman, which makes me wonder if something happened to Jill.

And Sherry (I bet) is going to be in it due to past screen releases, which means Wesker has to be there too ^^

I am thinking that RE5 is just a way to bring back Chris and they had no other ideas, so they took RE4's story line, and put a few twists on it.
As for the chick? I dunno.
And no Wesker? Shame shame shame!!
