Wesker-Chick

Prologue The girl, if girl she was, sat with her knees pulled up and her head resting across her arms.  Behind her an old record player scratched away.  The music seemed to sooth the girl, who was starting absently across the room at a homemade doll. In the eyes of anyone else the doll would be grotesque and to some even frightening.  Its head was an old baseball, the body bits of rope and random stuffing.  One of the arms ended with a corkscrew, the other was just a knotted bit of rope.  Tacks and nails studded the baseball, the heads of which had been dabbed with red paint.  Patiently wound around each nail was a single piece of continuous
